L&W compressive strength tester has strip feeder The L&W compressive strength tester STFI is a new instrument for the short-span compressive testing (SCT) of liner and fluting. A new feature is the automatic strip feeder that moves the test strip forward after each measurement. Test strips can be measured without operator intervention. The test cycle takes 1-1/2 minutes to make 20 measurements. An integrated moisture sensor corrects the compressive strength so that it can be used directly at the paper machine.
