AccuWeb WideArray detector adjusts to new web widths

The WideArray™ edge detector from AccuWeb, Inc., Madison, WI, automatically detects web edges passing anywhere through its 18.4-in.-wide edge detection range. When positioned on opposite sides of the web in a center guiding mode, the WideArray’s range is doubled to provide 36.8 in. of accurate, fully compensated detection. The wider range allows on-the-fly changes to the guide point or web width, speeding make-ready time by eliminating manual adjustment or mechanical edge sensing devices.
