Measure the charge character of solid particles The efficiency of pigments and fillers is highly dependent on the individual surface charge. Of major interest is the effect of dispersants, which contribute to particle surface charge. Most laboratory measurements for zeta potential require dilution of high consistency slurries which often leads to dispersant desorption. You can now measure slurries at their applied concentration with the SZP 06, using newly developed special electrodes, combined with a paper filter. These special electrodes for the SZP 06 allow slurry measurements with a solids content of less than 1%, up to more than 60%. BTG Technologies, www.teambtg.com |
