Peterson horizontal recyclers produce high quality end products Eugene, OR-based Peterson Pacific Corp. introduces the new HC 4700 horizontal recycler designed for high-volume producers with demanding end-product specifications. The 630-hp HC 4700 is a new mid-range model in the Peterson recycler line up. It utilizes the Peterson three-stage grinding process with an up-turning rotor that helps to product materials to exact specifications. The first fragmentation step occurs at the up-cutting rotor. The rotor draws material into the grinding chamber in an efficient way that minimizes bit wear. The anvil is positioned for optimum sizing and production to provide the second sizing stage. The final sizing stage takes place at the large grate area. The horizontal recycler’s quick-change multiple grate system makes it easy to customize grate configurations to produce a wide array of finished materials. The Peterson grinding system results in high production for a wide variety of end products, minimizing the need for regrinding. The patented Impact Release System minimizes damage from contaminants in the grinding chamber resulting in more uptime. Peterson’s Smart Control Panel is intuitive and maximizes throughput for more production each day. All finished materials are discharged on a continuous conveyor, which reduces material spillage to minimize clean up. • Peterson has also introduced the BT 60 blower truck. The 60-cubic-yard-capacity truck is intended for operators who travel longer distances with low-density organic materials. The Peterson feeder and high-capacity blower combine to deliver a wide range of organic materials expanding an operation’s production and profitability. The BT 60s live floor unloads materials rapidly without bridging. This feature also allows for redistributing the weight of the load, resulting in optimum truck handling capabilities. Peterson’s Power Sweep Assist feature makes it simple to deliver many kinds of materials in the same day. By just pulling a lever, the truck’s live floor can be cleaned out. A remote control with intuitive functions lets operators easily complete material installation. The external reel design of the BT 60’s hose storage offers optional power assist to make operation easier. Controls are housed so the BT 60 can run in inclement conditions.
