Turnkey pulper and detrashing systems from MTR Martco

MTR Martco, Middletown, Ohio has custom engineered a turnkey pulper and detrashing system designed to operate in conjunction with either continuous or batch waste paper pulpers.

A stock flow mixture of fiber is separated and reclaimed by passing through a perforated extraction plate and sent directly downstream for further processing. The contaminants remain in the detrasher where they are washed and discharged to a drum screen for thickening and removal from the system.

MTR detrashing systems sustain peak production in a continuous pulper by feeding accepts forward while maintaining low debris levels in the pulper tub and provide prescreened, high quality extracted stock in batch pulpers.

The MTR Martco detrashing system also employs their state-of-the-art trash pumps and extraction plates featuring 30% longer life thanks to a combination of 410 stainless steel and a precision heat-treating process to increase hardness. Stellite wear strips can be fitted to further improve durability.
