Bruks drum and disc chippers
Bruks Rockwood, Alpheretta, GA, has stationary drum and disc chippers with chute and horizontal feed options, designed for chipping various short and long materials such as sawmill and veneer residues, waste wood/bio mass and roundwood. When chipping roundwood longer than 1.5-m, the disc chipper with horizontal infeed gives the best yield. Chips can be blown via chip tube to a cyclone or discharged through the chipper bottom for smoother handling. Disc diameters ranging from 1500 to 2500-mm, infeed openings from 330-650 mm and power ratings up to 800kW result in capacities ranging from 40- 300-cu. m. chips per hour of the highest quality.
