Fraser Papers Inc.’s Millinocket, ME paper mill, owned by Katahdin Paper Company, has received certification from the Forest Stewardship Council. FSC certification is through an independent auditor who verifies adherence to FSC standards.

The mill has production capacity of 180,000 tons/year of high-quality SCA and SCA+ papers on its state-of-theart paper machine.

Katahdin has three machines in Maine and also makes directory paper. Fraser manages its operations.
