Automatic Brush Shower automates shower cleaning

The Automatic Brush Shower from Spraying Systems Co., Wheaton, IL, offers total automation of cleaning cycles. The shower is equipped with a motor and connects to a control unit. Operators simply push a single button to activate brush rotation and cleaning. Where total automation is desirable, control units can be ordered with a programmable timer for advance scheduling of cleaning cycles.

An internal rotating brush assembly scrubs the interior wall of the shower as well as each disc-type shower nozzle orifice. In just a few seconds, debris is swept away through the flush-out valve, restoring full liquid flow to the system without contaminating the sprayed surface. The brushes operate without disruption to normal processes.

Brush-type showers with handwheels can be easily upgraded for automatic operation. Replacing the handwheel with the motor and geared drive unit and mounting the control unit can be done in about 30 minutes. The upgrade improves worker safety as operators no longer have to climb machines and manually operate the handwheel.
