Azima DLI DCA-60 analyzes vibration

Global condition monitoring services company Azima DLI, Woburn, MA, has released the DCA-60™ vibration data collector and real-time analyzer. The DCA-60 allows plant technicians to collect vibration data and diagnose machine faults on site or transmit its data via the Internet to Azima DLI expert analysts as part of a WATCHMAN Analysis™ program.

The DCA-60 enables four-channel simultaneous vibration data collection with new capabilities including wireless connectivity, multimedia, 80 GB of data storage and compatibility with Windows applications.

The DCA-60 also features ALERT™ vibration analysis software which includes advanced diagnostic tools commonly found in high-end reliability systems, such as harmonic and sideband cursors, spectral overlays, zooming, waterfalls and more. Users can diagnose machine faults with Cepstral plots, orbits, demodulated vibration spectrum, time synchronous averaging, Bode plots and comparisons to machine baseline spectral data.

The DCA-60’s triaxial, simultaneous data collection combined with Azima DLI’s field-proven methodology allows reliability professionals to collect more accurate and repeatable data in less time. The fast triaxial data collection capability allows engineers to collect a suite of measurements in just one click while helping them to perform complete machine condition analysis, including bearing fault detection using demodulation.

Users have instant access to Azima DLI’s experts through integration with the WATCHMAN Reliability Portal, which allows Azima DLI to analyze data remotely. Plant managers can then access results and alerts through the portal’s dashboard that features up-todate information about equipment condition and the status of ongoing monitoring programs.

Azima Holdings, Inc. bought Washington state-based DLI Engineering to form the company in September 2008.
