Kernco Instruments Co., Inc., El Paso, TX, says its P-2000 digital, electrical resistance type paper moisture tester has three scales for testing paper stock, cores and corrugated baled scrap paper and a 0-100 arbitrary scale to obtain relative moisture indications on other materials.

Features include a set-point with buzzer to indicate when a pre-selected percentage of moisture content has been reached. The unit stores up to 100 readings and displays the average and highest of the stored readings. There is built-in calibration.

The moisture ranges are: 4.3 to 18% for paper; 5 to 40% baled scrap paper; 1-100% arbitrary. PI
