Sonoco announced that Javier Garcia, has added division vice-president to the title of managing director – Industrial Products/Paper, Sonoco Mexico.

Garcia joined Sonoco Mexico in 1980. Before joining Sonoco, the mechanical engineer worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. as tire manufacturing superintendent.

Marty Pignone, vice-president, Paper, North America, said, “Javier has done a superb job of managing Sonoco’s Mexican tube and core and paper operations.
