Veronica “Ronee” M. Hagen became the new CEO for Sappi Fine Paper North America on November 1. She joined Sappi from Alcoa where she was the business unit president of engineered products. Before Alcoa, Hagen owned Metal Sales, private business that sold metals, and metal processing and fabricating equipment. She sold Metal Sales in 1996, joined Alumax as executive vice-president and in 1998 became part of Alcoa when it bought Alumax.

Hagen succeeded Dr. John Job who, after the resignation Kathy Walters, served as interim president and CEO from May 2004. Job continues as Sappi’s technical director. www.sappi.com. PI
